I am back blogging and holding myself accountable for all my actions food and exercise wise, I am in a good place, food wise and weight wise, but the new journey has only really just began, so hopefully this will help to keep me on the straight and narrow.
I really thought it was the end of my world as I know it this morning, I was convinced I was going to die, that my poor heart was going to explode, my lungs deflate and my legs give way! It was my third time taking part in this class called Armageddon, but luckily as you can see I survived to tell the tale.
It's a mad class, circuit, come bootcamp, come torture. Can't lie I am proper rubbish especially when it comes to things like burpees, which I believe I am allergic to. Burpees and my body are not made for each other, talk about ungainly, I look like a fu**d up frog, hopefully I get better, but right now it's pretty ugly!
This week was a good week for exercise a 3 mile run on Monday, rest on Tuesday, Wednesday 40 minutes on the exercise bike at home, Thursday boxing class, Spinning Friday and Armageddon today, rest tomorrow, my body has had enough.
I have signed up for a fitness weekend in August, so that is something to work towards, as is looking decent in a costume for carnival, this year I vow my belly will not hang over my shorts!
Being back at the gym feels good and my body is responding well, there is something about group exercise that makes you push yourself harder, maybe it's shame, embarrassment, whatever, who cares as long as it's working!
